Technology Vision

It is our responsibility as an educational institution to help students use technology to prepare for productive citizenry in this global economy. North Muskegon Public Schools will provide and integrate technology to enhance our educational mission for students, staff, and community members.

Technology Plan

Technology is important in the life of North Muskegon Public Schools.  Administrators, teachers and students find computers, data projectors, and a host of other technologies help them learn and work more efficiently.  The state of technology at NMPS is summarized in our Technology Plan.  This plan will be revised in 2015, and will undergo further review and revision as needed.

Technology & Security Enhancement Millage

Our citizens supported these needed technology improvements with the recent approval of the February 2014 County Wide Technology Enhancement Millage which will provide roughly $160,000 annually for the next ten years. This generous community support will provide students and staff with a rich technology infrastructure and the related technology resources needed to improve student learning and classroom instruction.  This is vitally important in the digital age (aka “21st century”) if students are to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive and compete in a global economy. In the future, we will continue to integrate emerging new technologies into the teaching and learning process for all staff and students.  Thank you for your support!
